1. What CakeDekho is
CakeDekho is a discovery platform that showcases cake designs uploaded by independent bakeries and helps customers find and contact those bakeries. CakeDekho itself does not bake, sell, price, or deliver cakes. Any order, quotation, payment, or delivery arrangement is made directly between you and the bakery you choose to deal with.
2. Accounts
You can browse without an account. Saving designs, following bakeries, and requesting quotes require one. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old (or have a guardian's consent) to create an account.
3. Quotes and orders
A quote request sent through CakeDekho shares your request details and preferred contact method with the bakery. Prices, availability, customisation, payment, cancellation, and delivery are agreed between you and the bakery. CakeDekho is not a party to that transaction and does not guarantee any bakery's response, quality, or fulfilment.
4. Content
Cake photos and bakery profiles are uploaded by bakeries, who are responsible for having the rights to what they upload. You may not copy, scrape, or commercially reuse platform content without permission. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review it.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the platform: no unlawful content, no harassment of bakeries or users, no attempts to break, probe, or overload the service, no fake accounts or automated scraping. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CakeDekho is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any dispute arising between you and a bakery. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the operator's registered place of business have exclusive jurisdiction.
